Terms & Compliance

1. Terms of Service

Welcome to LitraMind. By accessing our platform, utilizing our large language model workflows, or processing research datasets through our text servers, you agree to be legally bound by these terms. Our platform is strictly engineered to act as a supportive research and structural assistance utility for scholars, researchers, and professional authors.

Users assume full operational liability for the underlying validity of their manuscripts. LitraMind provides semantic processing tools, citation matching layouts, and grammatical prose structures, but does not claim responsibility for final factual accuracy or laboratory data representations.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that utilize algorithmic automation to bypass system firewalls, scrape proprietary indexing servers, or compromise platform bandwidth. All processes must adhere to strict computational boundaries and rate-limiting rules outlined in your respective user tier.

• Accounts must be verified via institutional or credentialed scholarly email networks.
• API tokens are personalized and cannot be shared across multiple external data endpoints.
• System output manipulation to spoof system logging parameters is strictly prohibited.
• Users must ensure their intended use patterns comply with local scientific research laws.

2. Privacy & Data Protection

At LitraMind, data security is integrated directly into our core text-processing pipelines. We understand the highly sensitive nature of unpublished research, experimental data variables, and advanced institutional patents. Any text, source, or file uploaded to our local systems is encrypted both in transit and at rest.

Crucially, LitraMind enforces a strict data isolation guarantee: your inputs, prompts, uploaded manuscripts, and generated text structures are never utilized to train public base models, nor are they shared with unauthorized third-party indexing organizations.

• Full alignment with global data protection standards (GDPR) and academic security frameworks.
• Immediate, permanent deletion protocols for research contexts upon user request.
• Strict boundary isolation between personal workspace environments and cloud sync services.
• Encrypted reference storage for zero exposure of proprietary laboratory insights.

Your workflow metrics and operational logs are processed purely to optimize query speed, manage active session states, and identify automated platform threats. Reviewers, researchers, and lab directors can safely deploy LitraMind knowing their intellectual competitive advantage is secure.

3. Academic Integrity Policy

LitraMind is built to augment human intelligence, not replace it. We explicitly stand against academic malfeasance, autonomous essay mills, and unethical authorship spoofing. Our tools are designed to assist with background literature mapping, structural outlining, formatting synthesis, and clarity polishing.

It is the user's sole ethical responsibility to ensure that their reliance on our AI platform strictly adheres to the specific AI attribution guidelines set forth by their academic institutions, funding bodies, and targeted publishing houses (e.g., Nature, Elsevier, IEEE, or APA).

We reserve the right to deploy internal behavioral monitoring algorithms to detect patterns consistent with fraudulent academic practices, including the wholesale generation of fabricated study populations or hallucinated experimental results intended to deceive peer-review boards.

4. Intellectual Property & IP

You retain full ownership, copyrights, and intellectual property rights over any raw data, abstracts, and final manuscripts compiled through LitraMind. We lay no claim to your text structures, research findings, or conceptual conclusions generated via our interface.

Conversely, the proprietary semantic search maps, interface designs, layout blocks, custom model weights, and the LitraMind brand assets are the exclusive intellectual property of LitraMind Systems Inc. Any reverse-engineering of our codebases is a breach of this compliance framework.

• User maintains 100% ownership over all finalized manuscript drafts and exported docx/pdf outputs.
• LitraMind retains full proprietary rights over all algorithmic code frameworks and matching software.
• The platform's citation-parsing logic and design layers are strictly trademarked.
• Open-source sub-modules are credited accurately under their respective software licensing.

In the event that an institutional account creates custom system templates or internal literature guidelines for exclusive laboratory use, those isolated profiles remain the property of that underlying institution, shielded completely from other tenant profiles across our multi-user cloud servers.

5. LLM Token Usage & Fair Use

To deliver high-speed, comprehensive literature synthesis and text optimization, LitraMind tracks usage metrics through processing tokens rather than traditional browser cookies. This ensures your account allotments are monitored uniformly across various web browsers, desktop instances, and API nodes.

Abusive usage behaviors, such as hooking interactive project templates to unmetered background processing chains running automated mass text creation, will automatically trigger a contextual safety pause on your system tier pending standard review.

By continuing to operate within your research dashboard, you grant permission for the platform to allocate computational resources dynamically to your active text tabs, adjusting processing latency according to real-time system load balances and individual plan priority access levels.
